Azerbaijani Court Sentences Abducted Armenian Servicemen to 11.5 Years of Imprisonment
The court in Sumgait has issued a verdict, sentencing the abducted Armenian servicemen to 11 years and 6 months of imprisonment. Servicemen were taken captive by Azerbaijan from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia on May 26.

In the past week, Azerbaijan has violated the ceasefire over 4 times, including instances of opening fire on civilian objects.
On July 9, Azerbaijan turned on the gas supply to the besieged region, after blocking it for 110 straight days. Civilians rushed to fill up their cars at gas stations. A few hours later, Azerbaijan turned off the gas again.
On July 11, Azerbaijan again blocked Red Cross from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Center for Truth and Justice (CFTJ), a 501(c) (3) U.S. nonprofit organization, has been documenting human rights violations and war crimes against Armenians since the 2020 war in Nagorno-Karabakh. CFTJ has set up fact-finding infrastructure in the region and has been collecting first-hand testimonies from victims of Azerbaijani and Turkish aggression.
The recent CFTJ report provides testimonial evidence depicting the dire conditions endured by those living under the Azerbaijani blockade.
